Bed Bath &?Beyond is kicking off their new partnership with Habitat for Humanity with an in-store promotion this holiday season. Through Dec. 31, 2019, customers can purchase a set of two pairs of socks for $3.99 and 10% of the purchase price will be donated to Habitat for Humanity International.? Bed Bath & Beyond has made a minimum commitment of $100,000.?
The Burgess Brothers LLC?pledged a minimum donation of $100,000 to Habitat, including a donation of $2,500 directly to Habitat for Humanity of Sacramento to support efforts in their local community.?A minimum of $97,500 will be raised for Habitat for Humanity International through the sales of these Burgess Brothers signature products through Oct. 1, 2020:
- ChurWaffle Iron: $0.60 of every iron sold will be donated to Habitat (30% of their proceeds).
- All Purpose Homemade Cornbread Mix: $0.25 of every consumer package of cornbread mix sold will be donated to Habitat (15% of their proceeds).
- Hotmat: $1.00 of every Hotmat sold will be donated to Habitat (45% of their proceeds).
Charity Miles is an iPhone and Android app that lets you earn money for the world’s top charities, including Habitat for Humanity. Just launch the free app, choose Habitat for Humanity as the charity of choice, and either walk, run or bike. Charity Miles will donate to Habitat for every mile covered. Walkers and runners earn 25 cents per mile; bikers earn 10 cents per mile.
Corner Bakery Café?announced its national partnership with Habitat for Humanity in August 2019. Through Sept. 30, customers at participating restaurants were invited to make a donation at checkout to Habitat for Humanity International. Additionally, Corner Bakery Café ran a text-to-enter sweepstakes through Nov. 4, 2019, with the winner receiving $2,500 in cash, along with a $2,500 donation in their name to their local Habitat.?Corner Bakery has committed to donate a minimum of $100,000 to Habitat.
Chico’s FAS, Inc. and its family of brands – Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma – has partnered with Habitat for Humanity International since 2018? to empower women to build strength, stability and independence through homeownership. The partnership, which has its roots in 13 years of local support of Habitat of Lee and Hendry Counties in Florida, includes sponsorship of Habitat’s 2019 Women Build program and Home is the Key?campaign. Chico’s FAS is proud to dedicate their 50th Habitat home in 2019.?

Delta SkyMiles members can donate their miles to Habitat for Humanity through Delta Air Lines’ SkyWish program. These donated miles will help Habitat to direct even more resources into projects that help families in need of affordable housing.

HSN Cares is dedicated to empowering women and helping families in times of need. HSN has partnered with Habitat since 2014, collecting donations at checkout and donating a portion of sales of products and other cause initiatives.
J.Crew launched their partnership with Habitat for Humanity International in 2019. Through the partnership with Blue Jeans Go Green, J.Crew has been supplying used denim to be recycled into housing insulation for select Habitat homes. Now, as an added incentive, customers are encouraged to bring in their old jeans for $20 off a new pair.
Kum & Go has been a partner of Habitat since 2013. Each year, Kum & Go invites customers to join the partnership through a donation at checkout program, as well as providing a portion of product sales. Additionally, Kum & Go sponsors a full house and provides grants and volunteers to support Habitat projects in multiple markets.
A new cause marketing partner in 2019,?Lazy Dog?is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, and operates 34 restaurants in six states across the country.?From Nov. 12 - Dec. 31, 2019, guests will be invited to buy a gingerbread house decorating kit for $5.95, and?47% of the purchase price from the sale of each kit will be donated to Habitat for Humanity International. Lazy Dog has committed a minimum contribution of $100,000.
Through its Round Up & Donate program, Lyft is helping Habitat for Humanity strengthen communities and empower homeowners to build safe and affordable homes. From August 2017 through December 2019, users of the Lyft rideshare platform can support Habitat every time they get a Lyft ride. Fares can be automatically rounded up to the nearest dollar, with the difference being donated to Habitat. Customers turn on the Round Up & Donate feature in the Lyft app, then select Habitat from a list of charities. Each passenger contributes a small amount, but the collective action makes a large impact.
Madewell, an American specialty retailer, offers an assortment of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. Madewell entered into a new partnership with Habitat for Humanity in 2019. Madewell customers are encouraged to bring in their old jeans, which, through partnership with Blue Jeans Go Green, are recycled into housing insulation that can be used in Habitat homes. As an added incentive, customers who bring in their old jeans are offered $20 off a new pair.
A new partner of Habitat for Humanity as of December 2019, Miir will feature Habitat as one of three nonprofit partners in their “GiiVen” campaign. Through Dec. 31, 2020, based on sales of its GiiVen line of water bottles, Miir will pool funds equal to 3% of net sales. Purchasers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite of the three charities, and the funds will be distributed to each proportionally.?
Nest, a Google company,?announced?its partnership with Habitat in April?2018 and kicked it off by donating 10% of the sales of thermostats to Habitat for Humanity International.?In addition, to help lift the energy burden for families in the U.S., Nest will be donating 4,000 Thermostat E units to Habitat affiliates for new homes or repairs.?Google employees are also providing volunteer support to build cottages in Sonoma, California, with families affected by recent wildfires.
Nissan has been a long-time partner of Habitat for Humanity to support people in building better lives for themselves and for their families. In 2018, Habitat was integrated into the Calling All Titans marketing campaign in which Nissan called on “titans” of their neighborhoods to support Habitat.?Additionally, Nissan has been a valued sponsor of Home is the Key?since 2017.
O-Cedar launched its partnership with Habitat in 2017 and sponsored Home is the Key?in 2018 and again in 2019. In support of Habitat, O-Cedar donated $1 of every ProMist MAX spray mop sold through any of its retail channels from?April 1 through June 15, 2019.?Additionally, O-Cedar continues to support Habitat for Humanity of Fox Valley in their US Headquarters’ city of Aurora, Illinois.
From Oct. 11, 2019 - March 13, 2020,?Volvo Construction?will run promotional spots featuring Habitat for Humanity during the airing of?Gold Rush?on the Discovery Channel.?Viewers will be encouraged to go online to vote between Habitat for Humanity International and one other featured nonprofit.?Sixty percent of the proceeds from the auction of a Volvo?Gold Rush?excavator will be donated to the organization that receives the most votes, and the runner-up will receive 40% of the auction proceeds.?The winning nonprofit will be announced during the?Gold Rush?season finale on March 13, 2020.?
Wayfair, the online home store for furniture, décor, outdoor living and more, has supported Habitat’s mission through a checkout donation program since 2012. Customers can add $1, $5, $10 or $25 to their online order to support Habitat’s work.
